Excellence Academy organized a health checkup on 5th September,2024 which is a great initiative to promote students’ health and wellbeing.

There are some aspects that are covered in a school health checkup:

1. Physical examination: A thorough physical examination by a healthcare professional to identify any potential health issues.
2. Vital signs check: Checking of vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiratory rate.
3. Vision and hearing tests: Assessments to identify any vision or hearing problems.
4. Dental checkup: A dental examination to promote good oral health.
5. Health education: Educating students about healthy habits, hygiene, and disease prevention.
6. Vaccination and immunization: Administering necessary vaccinations and immunizations.
7. Nutrition counseling: Providing guidance on healthy eating habits.
8. Mental health assessment: Identifying signs of mental health concerns such as stress, anxiety, or depression.
9. Referral to specialists: Referring students to specialists if needed, such as orthopedic, ENT, or ophthalmologists.
10. Follow-up and monitoring: Scheduling follow-up checkups to monitor students’ health progress.
